Loan Processing

Here at Briggs, we believe homeownership is the greatest wealth creator in America today. We also know the path to get there can be daunting; but it doesn’t need to be. We are seeking a New Loans/Servicing Release Specialist to join our Servicing Team.  In this role, you will be reporting to Director of Loan Serving and will have an opportunity to be responsible for processing the New Loan Boarding, Loan Acquisitions, and Servicing Release efforts for Homeside Financial to ensure all agency, insurer, state and federal regulations are met in regards the mortgage servicing rights retained or released by the company.

• You will process refund checks. Review account to determine proper check disposal and related maintenance.
• You will balance all monetary transactions.
• You will provide support to Customer Service, research and resolve tax related problems received in queue.
• You will assist as needed with reconciling reimbursable General Ledger Account
• You will assume ownership of escrow related problems until completely resolved, including any communication necessary with tax authorities, title companies, insurance companies, attorney’s offices, and vendors.
• You will follow up on internal research request items generated through batch task tracking
• You will participate in training new staff members
• You will act as back up in absence of Unit Leader
